  • Trop, Pruner & Hu, P.C., Austin, Texas. Ms. Heusmann focuses her practice on numerous aspects of trademark and copyright law. Ms. Heusmann has experience in assisting clients with the establishment and protection of their valuable intellectual property rights, management of intellectual property portfolios, implementation of branding and marketing strategies, evaluation and screening of potential trademarks and registration and maintenance of trademarks and copyrights.

    Ms. Heusmann also has experience as in-house counsel for a leading intellectual property management and licensing company, where she managed the intellectual property rights for entertainment legends such as Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Buddy Holly. As in-house counsel, Ms. Heusmann gained significant experience handling the unauthorized use of clients' intellectual property as well as negotiating various license agreements.
